Visual and technical analysis

  • Core Idea: The artwork explores duality in a synthetic environment, with a corporate monolith featuring a glowing red Yin-Yang that feels like a branded, artificial equilibrium.
  • Environment: The scene was built from scratch in Blender, with a focus on a heavy, claustrophobic atmosphere using volumetric fog and harsh red emission lighting to obscure background skyscrapers.
  • Movement and Scale: A foreground transit line was added to provide a sense of scale and mechanical rhythm against the static buildings.
  • Sound Design: The final cut and sound design were done in Kdenlive, with custom SFX of train cars and a distant, oppressive hum of the metropolis to ground the project.
